Risk Disclaimer & Disclosures
Effective June 24, 2026 · Applies to all DayTraderPro content, tools, emails, and partner links
DayTraderPro is an educational and information service. It is not investment advice. Trading stocks, options, futures, and other leveraged products carries a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. You can lose some, all, or — with margin and leverage — more than your initial deposit. Past performance, hypothetical results, scanner output, and AI-generated commentary are not indicative of future results. Do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose. If you are unsure, consult a licensed financial professional before acting.
No investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice
All content published on DayTraderPro — including the homepage, AI Analyzer briefs, Strategy Scanner hits, IV Scanner output, Market Intel, Regime Detector calls, Sector Rotation tilts, Scanner History, daily market recaps, watchlist alerts, the Pro dashboard, social posts, and any emails or push notifications we send — is provided solely for general informational and educational purposes.
Nothing on the site is an offer, solicitation, endorsement, or recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, derivative, cryptocurrency, or other financial instrument, nor is it investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice. DayTraderPro is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, FINRA member, CFTC-registered CTA, or licensed financial planner. No fiduciary relationship, agency relationship, or duty of care is created by your use of the site, by subscribing to the Pro tier, by receiving our emails, or by clicking any partner link.
You are solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions.
Trading involves substantial risk of loss
Active trading, day trading, swing trading, short selling, options, futures, margin, and any other leveraged strategy carries a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Most retail day traders lose money. You should carefully consider whether such trading is appropriate for you in light of your financial condition, experience, risk tolerance, and objectives.
Setups, entries, stops, and targets shown anywhere on the site (commonly labeled Trig, Stop, T1, T2, R-multiples, grades, and bias) are algorithmic price objectives derived from historical data and rules-based logic. They are not recommendations, are not guaranteed to be reached, and routinely fail. Slippage, gaps, halts, circuit breakers, news events, and fast-moving markets can — and frequently do — cause realized losses to exceed your displayed stop. Risk/reward figures (R:R) are hypothetical and exclude commissions, exchange and SEC fees, financing/borrow costs, taxes, currency conversion, and slippage.
AI-generated content may be wrong
The AI Analyst, recap generator, scanner narratives, and any other natural-language output on the site are produced by large language models and automated systems. They can be — and at times will be — inaccurate, out of date, biased, internally inconsistent, or entirely fabricated (commonly called "hallucinated"). Quotes, levels, earnings dates, catalysts, fundamentals, and news cited by the AI must be independently verified on your broker or a primary source before any action is taken.
Hypothetical and backtested results
Win rates, R-multiples, follow-through statistics, "fade" outcomes, scanner history, and any other performance figures on the site are computed from historical data on a post-hoc basis. They do not represent actual trading by DayTraderPro, its operators, or any subscriber.
Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. There are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight, do not involve financial risk, and cannot completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading.
Market data & technical accuracy
Quotes, charts, indicators, and corporate data on the site are sourced from third-party providers (including, without limitation, Polygon.io, Yahoo Finance, Nasdaq, and the providers' upstream sources). Data may be delayed, throttled, missing, stale, mis-aligned, or wrong. We do not warrant the timeliness, completeness, accuracy, or continued availability of any data feed. Do not trade off our display — confirm every price and level on your broker's live feed before acting.
Affiliate & partner disclosure
DayTraderPro receives referral compensation, revenue share, and/or flat marketing fees from select partners featured in the Edge Stack and elsewhere on the site, including but not limited to StocksLeak, The Stock Operator, and SpeedTrader. Outbound links to these partners may carry tracking parameters (UTM tags, affiliate IDs, or referral cookies). Compensation does not change the price you pay and does not influence which products we list — the desk only lists products it actually uses — but you should assume a financial relationship exists with every partner shown on the site.
DayTraderPro is operated by the founder of StocksLeak and TheStockOperator and is a former founder of SpeedTrader; we disclose this relationship in good faith so that you can independently evaluate any partner recommendation.
No guarantee of profit, accuracy, or availability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. We do not guarantee uptime, data accuracy, freedom from bugs, or that the AI, scanners, or emails will be delivered on time or at all.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DayTraderPro, its operators, owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or trading losses (including without limitation lost profits, lost data, missed opportunities, or slippage) arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the site or any partner product, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Forward-looking statements
Any forward-looking statements on the site — including projections, forecasts, "expected" reactions, or any language about what a stock "should" or "could" do — are based on current assumptions and are subject to known and unknown risks, uncertainties, and other factors that may cause actual results to differ materially. We undertake no obligation to update any forward-looking statement.
Jurisdiction & eligibility
The site is operated from, and intended for users in, jurisdictions where its content is lawful. If you access the site from a jurisdiction in which any of the content, products, or partner offerings is restricted, it is your responsibility to comply with applicable local laws.
Your acknowledgement
By using DayTraderPro — including by browsing the site, creating an account, subscribing to the Pro tier, opening an email, or clicking any partner link — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Risk Disclaimer in its entirety, and that you assume full responsibility for any and all trading or investment decisions you make. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
